The Boise foothills sit as a citizen of our city. Not only suiting us with an alluring backdrop but proving a soulful and dynamic locality for us to play, laugh, and learn. The shapes and curves of the foothills helps create your favorite trails and inspirational views. As a city we are proud to call these hills our home and are determined to protect and enhance this open space. I wanted to honor that pride with a new mosaic series.
I wanted to capture our local topography, highlighting some of the most memorable trails, gulches, and summits in simple yet animated pieces. Contrasting rolling hills with sharp bold cuts, the subdued tones with vibrant color.
